1984年　湖北省生まれ

2019年に東京芸術大学を卒業、上野の森絵画大賞展において大賞を受賞。エンカウスティークという蜜蝋を用いる独特な技法で、色彩部分には岩絵具、光と影の部分には金箔や銀箔を使用。丁寧さの中に美しさを余すところなく表現されている。

Yuanyuan Zhang was born in 1984 in Hubei, and graduated from Tokyo National University in 2019. She has won the grand prize of the Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition.

She uses a unique technique which uses beeswax called encaustic. For the color part, she uses mineral pigments. And about the presentation of light and shadow she uses gold and silver foil. Her artworks expresses beauty in every detail with great care.
