私にとって「かわいい」は特別で神聖なもので、常にその時に感じた「かわいい」を制作しています。カラフルな色を使って、たくさんのお菓子やアイテムで少女を囲む事が好きです。それはかわいい最強の防御壁であり、自分を強くする意味での魔法陣でもあります。普通の「かわいい」だけではない、強くてかっこいい、どこか儚い少女達の一瞬を大切に絵描いていきたいと思っています。

Born in Osaka in 1990, Chisato Tatsumi graduated from the Osaka Design institute majored in illustration.

Chisato Tatsumi is a popular Japanese artist, who treasures the most sparkling moments through paintings by creating sweet and lovely portraits of young girls.The desserts portrayed in her works, are the most innocent and beautiful "Kawai" magic, giving her courage to face the difficulties on the path of becoming independent. The broken candy symbolize the loss and pain in life, that makes people stronger to defend their innermost being.She was inspired by Japanese anime during childhood. She defines Kawai as not just cuteness, but more like the existence of the Sailor Moon and Wonder Woman.
